It was a final round leaderboard as star-studded as they come, but Rahm out-dueled the likes of Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa and Louis Oosthuizen down the stretch to capture the win. In his post-match interview, he emphasized how his switch to Callaway equipment earlier in 2021 was key to his victory, giving him the ability to launch and shape shots to his liking in ways that he could not before (throwing some shade at TaylorMade no doubt). And with two clutch birdie putts on the final two holes to put himself into the pole position, Rahm made it a point to thank his equipment team for helping him find the perfect putter.
