In some really tough weather conditions, Max Homa held off Keegan Bradley and a strong field at the Wells Fargo Championship to capture his 4th PGA Tour victory. It seemed like whoever was mentally strong enough to battle the wind and rain and cold weather would come out on top, and Max was steady in the final round even after some squirrelly tee shots. In particular, his putter was solid and it seemed that his new "aim-point" technique was really helping him hole some big putts. In the bag this week, we saw a few changes from his last bag update. He's added a Titleist T100s 4-iron and a Titleist T100 5-iron to his complement of Titleist 620 MB muscle back irons. And then for the wedge set, he's upgraded to the Vokey SM9 set from the SM8 set he was using before. (We love how Max has custom stamping on his wedges for the traditional wedge names "Pw", "Gw", "Sw", "Lw" instead of degrees of loft.) Otherwise the bag is pretty consistent from before.
