Wyndham Clark has a bag setup that is mostly centered around Titleist equipment (driver, irons, wedges), but with a new TaylorMade Stealth 2 3-wood and a Odyssey Jailbird putter. He's sportin' the Titleist TSi3 driver which is still quite popular among the Titleist guys on tour, and the 620 CB irons are similarly quite the standard for the guys wanting Tour-level cavity back blades. But it's always nice to see a guy who isn't afraid to go with what he likes even if it doesn't fit the brand profile of the rest of his bag, and to get the win to boot.
I'll be honest that I wasn't necessarily rooting for Wyndham Clark to win at the Wells Fargo Championship. I was assuming that it would be tough for Wyndham to handle the pressure, having never won on the PGA Tour before after many years on tour, and that Xander Schauffele would take the lead and not look back. Well, the "take the lead" part happened for Schauffele on the 7th hole, but after that Wyndham Clark stepped up big time and just hit big shot after big shot to simply bury the rest of the field and win by 4 strokes in comfortable fashion. Congrats to Wyndham for proving me wrong, and he showed me so much that I will definitely be rooting for the guy going forward.
