For a guy entering the week with 5 straight missed cuts, boy, did Mackenzie Hughes' clubs catch fire during the 2021 US Open at the right time! Although things were tough in the final round and he couldn't quite come through with his best stuff when he needed, it was a great showing for the Canadian and hopefully hints at more success that is to come. An interesting addition to his bag was a PING i500 3-iron, which is a club more familiar to amateurs than tour pros. But who doesn't need a little forgiveness when it comes to the long irons, right?
