Matt Fitzpatrick outdueled Jordan Spieth at this year's RBC Heritage tournament at Harbour Town with the kind of consistency in shot-making we've come to expect from the young Englishman. So cool to see Fitzpatrick win the tournament at a place that he and his family used to visit throughout his childhood -- as was the case for his US Open victory at the Country Club in 2022, it seems that wherever Matt has good memories and vibes from his younger years, his game ratchets up a notch or two. His bag setup is almost entirely unchanged from what we saw earlier in the year, and very consistent with what we've seen in the last 18 months or so. Perhaps the only club that might be different is the 60-degree Vokey WedgeWorks prototype wedge he seemed to be carrying this weekend. After not having won a PGA Tour event to start his career, he's now won twice (including a major) in the last 12 months, so why change a good thing?
